Sumár projektu:This school partnership has been established for cooperation and exchange of experiences for pupils with special learning needs. The schools from Romania,Turkey, Italy,Slovakia,Poland, and Republic of Macedonia will exchange teaching methods, materials and practices, and developed teachers’ competences and training in this field. The aims of "ONE MİSSİON, ONE VİSİON, ONE FOCUS" is encourage the involvement of pupils from vulnerable groups in the educational process, to improve cooperation with parents of pupils who have learning difficulties and to assist them to integrate in school environment/peer groups, and improve the professional competences of staff working with pupils who have difficulties.Workshops for parents of children from deprived environments and with developmental disabilities will be made to raise their capacity to support their children in need; The quality of our teaching profession is the single most critical factor in sustaining and enhancing the quality of outcomes in our project.Capacity building of teachers to work with pupils from vulnerable groups, approaches and techniques; workshops will be made by 25 trained teachers from each participating school to support peer learning among school staff.All the schools work with pupils with special needs: mental disabilities, behavioural problems, social problems, leasing difficulties, autistic disorder…A total of 1024 students, 100 teachers and 1024 parents will be benefited from the project directly.Main activities: •Training for teachers on detecting and working with children with special education needs; •Workshop for teachers, parents and pupils on inclusive practices and challenges; • Experiential learning through staff training events and exchange of good practices; A PARENT ADVİSORY COMMİTTEE will be Established to encourage parents of children from deprived families to provide support to their children and become more involved in school life; BUDDY SYSTEM. A range of strategies for encouraging children to help one another in the classroom will be created A PRACTİCE GUİDE and SPECİAL-EDUCATİON PARENT&TEACHERS NETWORK are outcomes of a project developed by "ONE MİSSİON, ONE VİSİON, ONE FOCUS" to help schools and teachers in different parts of the world to respond to children who experience difticulties in school. It is expected that the materials will be used in many different ways to make them suitable for different national contexts. This project will be created bridges of cooperation with schools both in partnership* and within the Europe where teachers will expose to best practices and possibility to exchange experiences about inclusion. We hope that our experiences and knowledge will be useful and interesting for other schools and other teachers in other European schools, specially those who work with pupils with similar problems. The schools will have a plan to improve inclusion of and provisions for students with special education needs. Regular students will be provided with coaching, support and modelling to appropriately relate to students with special education needs. The school will have an appropriate positive behaviour programme to encourage pro-social behaviour and attitudes. IEP TEAM coordinates involvement of families, staff and specialists to develop IEPs.SPECİAL EDUCATİON UNİT will provide professional learning and development (PLD), support and guidance for teachers and teacher’s aides to effectively include and teach students with special education needs. The SEU will oversee the progress of students with special education needs and identify effective strategies that may help other students. Teachers will gain an understanding of Special Educational Needs; specifically Specific Learning Difficulties including Dyslexia, Dyspraxia (DCD), Dyscalculia, ADD and ADHD.They will appreciate causation and the key characteristics of the various specific learning difficulties They will develop an understanding of learning and living from the perspective of an individual with a special educational need, specifically Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and ADD/ADHD. Our project will create a network among the participating schools and families. Due to these networks, other institutions in the neighbourhood of the participating schools can benefit from the European cooperation. The results of this project will bring long term benefits to our schools as the teachers will get used to using innovative methods, they can share their experiences with their colleagues.The project products are planned to guarantee that the they have a long-term impact; therefore, quality, transferability and ongoing relevancy are their main characteristics. To this aim, the project results will be integrated and systematically used in the partner institutions and will be disseminated in their local (national) environments, as well as disseminated in the course of international meetings.
