With this project students have the opportunity to experience living in other European countries. The work experience is intended to develop the students’ professional knowledge and key competencies. Besides the development of professional skills, we expect the development of the following skills and competencies: • native and foreign language competences, • communication and social skills, • sense of initiative, • strengthening the planning, problem solving skills, • improving the skills of adaptation, • developing the ability of lifelong learning and motivation, • openness to the information. The project involves the following professions 1. catering (waiters, cooks) – 3rd grade – 15 students - 3 weeks – Dresden, Germany 2. car mechanic – 3rd grade - 10 students - 3 weeks - Budapest, Hungary Basic requirement is that the participants have language skills in English or German besides Hungarian and Slovak languages which they will develop during the project, so the multilingualism is ensured. After the positive decision, we will sign the partnership agreements, contracts in May - June 2018. We will inform the students, parents and teachers about the possibility of participating in the project. After the selection of the participants we will sign the learning agreements. We will organize the preparation and then all the operational and logistical tasks (travel, hotel reservations, etc.). The mobility activities will start in November 2018. The representatives of the hosting organizations will be waiting for the participants and help them, they provide mentors, the work places will provide professional leaders, tutors in both countries. The traineeship involves 5 working days per week, 7-8 hours a day. In the weekends, there will be cultural, recreational programs. At the end of the traineeship the students will receive their Europass Mobility document, which assesses their professional and language skills. After the mobility, the students will make presentation, the school will disclose the project's experiences and results, thereby arousing the interest of potential new groups. The project’s main results will be the development of the students’ professional knowledge and key competencies, students become more open-minded. They will get acquainted with new methods, procedures and modern technologies. By the end of the project the students’ self-confidence will rise, they will be aware of their abilities and values. The school tries to incorporate in to their curriculum the information obtained abroad, the mobility helps to increase the attractiveness of the school, thus contributing to the maintaining or even increasing of the number of students. At international level, our long-term goal is to create a CEE network, which is seeking common answers and solutions for regional problems. We feel that there is a lack of properly exploiting the euregion’s opportunities. After this project, we are trying to maintain the results, best practices and apply them in our institutions. The network will ensure the future cooperation and internationalization. We are planning of working out new projects and involve new partners.
