| Sumár projektu: | Medicine is currently based on standard procedures of basic medical disciplines, which in particular in real crisis situations (major epidemics, power outages, black-out and similar), appear to be inadequate because for example, in the event of energy network failure medical facilities are unable to provide adequate health care to the extent necessary because they cannot use plenty of apparatus depends on power energy. On the other hand, methods based on modern scientific acupuncture are not in a minimalist way dependent on this energy sources and are also applicable under extraordinary conditions. Acupuncture in Slovakia is for a long time based on innovative approaches and methods with using of interdisciplinary knowledge interconnection, which has been clinically proven in Slovakia, namely at the First Clinic of Acupuncture and Natural Medicine of G. Solár, Ltd., the applicant organization. Since in the further development of medicine it is necessary to take into account also unpredictable crisis situations and to develop such methods, which are in conjunction with other approaches (sound therapy, music, optimization of brain activity using neurotechnologies and support by modern rehabilitation techniques) functional also in extraordinary conditions, the project will fill the current gap in the education of healthcare professionals about the possibility of quality provision of comprehensive health care using less frequent methods in extraordinary as well as in standard conditions, which will ultimately be a major benefit for the whole medicine. Thanks to the project will be created an innovation of curricula and courses in Slovakia and other partner and associated countries, and the necessary related literature on comprehensive patient care, and bringing the latest scientific research and advanced technology information to the university and continuing medical and professional education of the health professionals. As the innovation will be jointly created by the authors and patent holders (SK, GB, CZ) to the relevant scientific knowledge within the partnership, the high quality of the produced outputs is a prerequisite. Thanks to the training, under the leadership of the best experts from abroad and Slovakia will be prepared a new generation of educators, health professionals and other professionals, who will thanks to the project possess new knowledge and competencies usable in both pedagogical practice and in health, social and educational areas. In the context of globalization of knowledge and the planned internationalization (exchanges of lecturers and students) of the provision of education, they can subsequently transfer into, for example, improved indicators of health, quality of life and well being of the population in the countries concerned. |
