| Sumár projektu: | The project "CO.D.E4all" wants to create a network of school across Europe to develop the "21st Century Skills"; such as creativity and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving, digital competence, teamwork and collaboration in virtual teams, multiple languages and cultural awareness. Our aim is to develop and share good practices and innovative educational ways to use coding and new technologies at school, for students from 3 to 13 years old , in order to create a computational thinking vertical curriculum . Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Turkey, Sweden and Portugal will be partners in this project: they have different background and they will bring their experience and skills in using coding and computer progmamming in the daily activities. Therefore, the goal of the project is to learn from each other and experience together new activities and methodologies to develop critical and computational thinking. Our students will have shared offinline and online coding activities, they will use programming platform like Scratch Junior and Scratch to develop games and digital storytelling, they will have a first approach to robotic education. We will work online in a virtual classroom, using Etwinning and Google for education platforms to learn together and create groups. We will also use social networks to disseminate our results and to involve an increasing number of digital users, not only students and teachers, but also our stakeholders like families, local community and authorities. Our aspiration is to help children to turn from digital consumers to digital producers. Special attention will be paid to motivating girls to STEM disciplines and to the new opportunities coding and ICT offer to inclusion of students with special needs or social difficulties. Our aim is also to build a Teachers' “Code European community”, where we can: -Share good coding and computer science practises that we are using in our classroom at the moment. - Inform other teachers, public, families about our project. - Collaborate with different nations researchers, technology developers, state and local leaders to disseminate the idea that technology is advanced in ways that promote young children’s healthy development and learning. For this reason we will focus also on teachers training and they will have several occasion to train about our topics, in online and face-to-face meeting. The projects activities are very diversified, including 4 transnational learning, teaching, trainging mobilities for 2 teachers and 3 students for each participant, 3 project meetings aimed to planning, monitoring and implementing the tasks, videoconferences and training activities using the ICT tools, storytelling, pixelart, video, apps, games and ebook editing, open days in each country and special events for dissemination marking international/European recurrent occasions, such as Code week, Christmas, Women’s day etc. The outcome of the project will be enhanced expertise for teachers of all ages, increased motivation and competence in using coding and ICT tools for students, improved awareness of the multiple uses and benefits of coding for policy makers and local communities and a large range of material and digital products to be shared with all project stakeholders by means of social media and events on site, so that to offer tips for new ideas and applications. |
